Shots were heard...the crowd really didn't react. I guess gunfire has been heard off and on for a while now. Goodness...the tank has a crane on it. I didn't know they could do that.... So they are going to use the crane to take the statue down.

LOL! 2 marines climbed the crane and are hooking the chain up to the crane or whatever they are doing. And then they took the US flag and covered Saddam's face with it LOL

Isn't that desecrating the flag though? ;-)
