It seems to me that jimrob just wants to let everyone work out their own problems, which is fine in theory, but if it is to be the case he should stop pulling posts and threads and let the full debate run its course.

And that's exactly what is NOT happening. Honestly I rarely go over there anymore except to follow this issue.

I do hope that you two are careful, Corin and ksen. I would say that you have made your points well, and I would plead for you to stop before pushing it to the point of no return. Don't push him too far. I for one agree with him that there is a lot of trashing in the name of debate. I also know that neither of you like my opinion on this, and I make you mad with it sometimes, but I say it because I care that you guys stay here! - I do not want to see you banned! - We have entmoot coming!

A religion does not have to be proven wrong by you for yours to be right, nor does it have to be proven wrong for there to be interesting discussion that can strengthen your own faith. I don't understand why religions have to be proven right or wrong. I don't see why it ever gets beyond... "Well, that's interesting, but we believe this..." I just really don't. If the other side is just as guilty, then don't talk to them. I know that is hard advice, I myself am wrapped up in a debate that won't stop. But I would like to think I would walk away before I got myself banned for rudeness to a whole class.
