Last summer the neighbors were asking about him wanting to know if he belonged to someone. They were ready to adopt him if he didn't.

Was he two-timing for extra food and attention? As I recall, we had one cat that did that...he used to visit another family a mile or so away for a day or so, then come back to us. Stinker! ;-)

I like "Django" as a name, too. I know a guy (a jazz guitarist, actually) who has a Kelpie (Australian Shepherd) named Django.

I think so. He was awfully friendly when he showed up at our door. Maybe a year old. He had fleas and tapeworm and my sister took him to the vet and got him fixed (poor kitty) so he's officially hers. Anyway, he discovered the neighbor dog's pet door and just made himself at home next door.

The neighbor said he was their "angel cat" come to comfort them when their dog died and they still keep a spot for him on the screen porch.

Oh yeah....Django was named by the guitarist friend who ended up adopting him.
