I agree with Corin's feelings about the mediots trying to portray the U.S. as "losing the war". War is hell and to think we could get through it without a single death or capture is solely wishful thinking. We all want it to be that way, but unfortunately it is never the case.
The most important thing to remember is that Saddam CHOSE war over peace. He had plenty of opportunity to avoid conflict, but as expected, he decided to sacrifice lives (hopefully his own) for power.
Nevertheless, I was saddened to see the pic of Andy Serkis (Circus - LOL) holding the "No war for oil" sign at the Oscars. Yet, hope remains while company is true (Thanks Sean Astin!).
Let's have some breakfast and remember to keep all of our folks in our prayers today, especially the POWs.
Bacon egg and cheese omelets with extra bacon and sausage on the side. Buttermilk biscuits and blueberry muffins are in the covered basket on the table. Fried eggs, grits and hash browns are on the hot plate. Coffee is strong and hot and ready to serve, and as usual, the juices are in the icebox. ENJOY!!
