Yes, I saw that, but I forgot to respond... I was going to advise you to build lots of walls! In fact, my favorite strategy is to pick out a good area filled with resources, build a wall all the way around it, then put all of my buildings inside the wall. The wall helps to slow down the enemy attacks so that I have time to respond to them.
Since we're still mired in dial-up land, I'm not sure how well an online game would work, but I'd be willing to try!
