No, they sure weren't... and if I really wanted to be authentic, I would go stomp around the mud puddles in the paddock some wearing the cloak.

The boots are ranger, but the vest is very hobbit. The hair will be Eowyn, I am going to wear it down and wavy. I am some kind of morphed character.

I'm packing the boy's little rolling suitcase to take to grandmas. I am so glad we went on that trip. My parents got to see how well-behaved my boys are...especially compared to other children in our family...

Mom tends to be very critical, but it's hard to be critical of little boys that are so shiningly obviously well-behaved. I know that sounds boastful, but she even mentioned it (delicately) on the way home.

I feel a lot better about leaving them, because Mom is feeling so proud of them right now.
