Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Sadly, I think that because of the movie starting at 3:15PM, we will have to skip the mall this time. We won't be getting out of MUVICO until 6:30PM or so and even then, you won't be home until 9 or 9:30 and that's if you leave as soon as the movie ends.
We might have to just sit somewhere and have a quick half hour chit-chat before you drive home. I wish you were staying over for one night. WHAT FUN WOULD BE HAD THEN! :)

We might have to just sit somewhere and have a quick half hour chit-chat before you drive home. I wish you were staying over for one night. WHAT FUN WOULD BE HAD THEN! :)That would be nice but Tami and I both teach Sunday School and I don't like to miss our church services if I can help it.

Hehehe...you like stirring things up don't you? But I don't blame you. Last weekend I was watching a Shirley Temple movie where she's like the daughter of the regiment. Anyway some of the members of the regiment were sent to meet her at the train and I cringed at the thought of her going off with complete strangers. (don't care who they were)

Yes, well, it's more the fact that my parents don't really see me as an adult. They have reason, since I'm not fully self-supporting - I don't pay rent or car insurance, and I eat at least one meal a day at home, but everything else I pay for - so it's really hard sometimes. Interesting.
My parents don't see me as an adult either and I'm 44, been on my own since they requested I live elsewhere at age 17. Does someone out there have parents who see them as an adult? Will they adopt me?
