Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Can you play anything off the Starkindler CD yet?I haven't listened to most of the CD yet. My brothers were over until after nine last night, so I had a limited amount of time. I'll listen tonight!
I CAN play most of the tunes I play on fiddle and mando, though not smoothly as I'm still having to stop and figure out where to go next - don't really know where notes are yet.

Good morning everyone!
First off, I am so happy to see g'nad, Corin and Vim back again. g'nad - you have an awesome way with words! I'm going to copy and paste it onto a Word document and save it, if you don't mind. It's just the thing to read early in the morning over a hot cup of coffee. Thanks so much for sharing it with us! Oh yeah, welcome back! I missed you terribly.
OK, on to breakfast!
It's kind of cool here so I fixed a hearty breakfast. Ham and cheese omelets, waffles, french toast and pancakes. I fried up some t-bone steaks and eggs too, if anyone would like some red meat off the bone this morning. *grin* Lots of bacon and sausage, along with some extra crispy hash browns. And plenty of coffee, tea and fresh juices for everyone! ENJOY!
Rosie - thank goodness you got your whistles, finally! I can't wait to hear you play them!
Bear, Rose and WN - saw the pic of you guys. Fabulous! Makes me even more eager for our minimoot here in Florida, let alone Entmoot next year!

Good morning! You should see it here...the sky is soooo blue, the sun is streaming down and there's fresh snow! The college is on top of a hill here, and the view is breathtaking. Just wish it could look like this without being so cold!
