Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

...Elf blood can be removed easily with some OxiClean and Nair! Don't show the Nair to the Elves though. They get very nervous around that stuff!

That's cool, RWRF.
I think my favorite thing is that one of my deer hunting buddies brought me over for Xmas a quart jar of peach "shine," which he said was better than the corn stuff.
One swig of that makes me feel like running around in circles. I believe it to be superior to miruvor or whatever that stuff is that Gandalf had that the elves drink.

Melbourne is north of Palm Beach, almost in the middle of the east coast of FLI looked it up... Microsoft Streets & Trips says it's almost 1400 miles from Austin to Melbourne. That's almost as far as it is from here to Northern Michigan... we could make the trip in 2 days of steady driving.

Funny thing...when I started posting here a week or so ago I thought I was brand new. But after thinking about it more I seem to remember a long time ago being on the original "man builds a hobbit hole" thread. In either case I wasn't much of a poster to it. Now I can't seem to shut up lol.
