The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

if we can't get together Wednesday, maybe we could plan a get-together that weekend, on Saturday... either go to an afternoon matinee, then have dinner together afterwards to discuss the movie... or get together before-hand, watch the DVDs, and then go to an evening show of ROTK?Definitely something. We will do something along the lines of something above.... At least I'm game. And I bet Myranda will be too.

Whistles don't talk, at least not when they're a state away... If whistles could talk... then I could play one too. But, that's about the only way.

I think "Texas Moot" is more appropriate than "mini Moot"... not many things "mini" in Texas, after all!

Did either of you notice the woman with the long elf-cloak? She was coming out as we were going in.
I want one of those! ;^)
When I go again I will have to let you all know -- if I go again. Long drive for me. Wish I had known you two were in Austin, that would have been fun.
I didn't order the tickets in advance because I had no idea they would still be selling out after almost 4 weeks!

I think "Texas Moot" is more appropriate than "mini Moot"... not many things "mini" in Texas, after all! You are so absolutely right. I thought about that last week.... but since there were only 4 of us going to be there. 2 households so to speak.

"Sam? You still around?"
I am now, I almost forgot figure drawing class, which I was late for, went out for lunch with my wife afterwards.
The model was a female my age (54), or maybe older, with a red flat top haircut, wierd, not in too terrible shape, though. One thing about figure drawing, when the models are out of shape, it is good inspiration to start working out.
