Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Thing is though..... even if it is Merry..... It might not be Dominic Monahan except in close ups.... they'd be using his size double.Are you sure they'd be using size doubles for Merry and Pippen in ROTK? They've grown since we last saw them.
If you look at the Dernhelm pic you can also make out the Elven cloak over his shoulder.

Could it be Pippin holding Merry? Bear and Ruthy, you are right! It's Pippen holding Merry. So no wonder Dernhelm's arm doesn't look broken, it's not her. ;^)
I also thought it was kind of weird that Dernhelm would be wearing a Gondorian helmet.

You know, this is probably how all these rumours get started. People don't really see what they thought they saw. And then they report what they saw which ends up being not even close to reality.

Yes, check the left arm on Pippin especially... chain mail and a bracer. The arm looks the same in both pics.

In other Stormhands news, Luke was kicked out of his Vacation Bible School class by some old bat who said she couldn't handle him.
Wife is exhausted working all night, teaching VBS, played for a funeral this afternoon. She's in tears.
