Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I'm sitting here in just absolute disbelief.
Amazing. Just now, an F16 went flying over the house. Nothing new, but it circled BACK and came down really low over our house. By then the boys and I were out in the yard waving. It flew twice over our house, the second time really low, you could really see it, then went on up north.
Not a helicopter...an F16!

The roar was pretty loud and you could see all the "stuff" on the underneath side. My mom said (on AIM just now) that they probably know the coordinates of my house or something.
Thank goodness the boys were with me this time, they missed the last helicopter fly by!
