The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hey Bear, are you working today?
To: HairOfTheDog
Is talk of moots a moot point for you? yep...pretty much unless we want to do a VA, NC, and possible TN moot.
To: Overtaxed
Ahh...I wonder where in MN. Thanks!

"Variety Vacationland" What's that mean?
Hehehe....that's the slogan for the tourist industry promotion people. We have beaches, mountains, golf courses, lakes, etc.

I am really loving my GF Grille. I just cooked burgers for the boys and I on it...huge 1" thick burgers in about 5 minutes!
This thing is awesome.

I don't think Mordor has a lot to offer the tourist market! Though I do like volcanos.

Blue moot, you saw me standing alone,
Without a dream in my heart,
Without a moot of my own...
To: HairOfTheDog; Overtaxed
No! It doesn't keep the buns warm...I wish it did, but it's really just a tiny one. That steak I made the other night just barely fit.
I don't get a comission, but I should, don't you think? LOL
I just really like small appliances. I have a ton. Remember how I sent your cookies last year? All done up using that machine that sucks the air out? LOL I love it.

* Sniff * I can't sing it....too choked up!
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
hmmmm...am doubtful I will get to share opening day with ANYONE...daughter has school....or at least she did these last two movies...I am guessing Jackson will hold to a similar date for ROTK...
BUT!!!
This does not mean I can't come up to Austin for a visit anyway. Did not make it up there this year, as Mom and Dad came and had Christmas with us. And I have no qualms about seeing the movie again...and again...I am certain it will be a heartbreaker...
Am just a bit nervous that my fav hobbit will get shortchanged...AGAIN...poor li'l feller...

LOL I hate to have all that stuff cluttering up my counter top. I do have a mini doughnut baker that I should use more often.

What are you talking about?Alkhin was saying she didn't think she'd be able to make it to Florida.
Hmm, if we can't get together Wednesday, maybe we could plan a get-together that weekend, on Saturday... either go to an afternoon matinee, then have dinner together afterwards to discuss the movie... or get together before-hand, watch the DVDs, and then go to an evening show of ROTK?
Decisions, Decisions...
To: Overtaxed
LOL!! Well, the thing is, the kitchen/dining area takes up almost a 4th of the house...so I have plenty of room and cabinet space! And I think I mentioned that I have an electrical outlet every 2' or so around the back of my counters? You'd think it was made just for me...not 30 years ago!!
This is what our house looks like now, with some remodeling that I want to do someday done in blue. See the diningroom/kitchen are?
To: Overtaxed
Uh...a mini donut maker???
I don't have one of those...
Info please!!
