Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

My right eye is swollen because I'm allergic to cats and I went over to my sister's house last night and I guess some cat hair got into my eye or something.
It was so painful and red last night that I had to flush it out with water several times before I could even blink properly. When I woke up this morning, it was better but a bit infected so when I tried to put in my contacts - OUCH!
I have my glasses on today, but I'm not used to wearing them and folks are not used to seeing me in them.

Yeah, I'm sure it will. It feels much better just being able to let my eye "breathe".
The only thing is that the glasses cause weird depth perception and I have to be careful or I'll trip and fall on my face. LOL!
