Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hey... check this out:

Cool! I hope we get some of that cut stuff in the eventual box set of the complete soundtracks.
I've pretty much finished updating the links of the moved Flat Frodo site. Next step is to set up a redirect from the old location.

Yikes... unfortunately, I think I know what you mean. Down in Astoria we always used to bitch about the one same Doc that always seemed to do the physicals. He was the one with the really long fingers and unusually large knuckles. [shudder] Ya'll need to change the subject. I think I have to go see that guy tomorrow. Yuk.

Actually my doctor was cuter than I would rather he be. Oh no! I had that happen once. The best doctor I had when my neck was healing. There wasn't as much probing with this one due to the injury.... but he was very cute!

Evening all; popped in to say Howdy.
Sorry to report that the Mrsg'nad photo of her flinging the atl-atl didn't turn out good enough. The twilight sure ate up the flash.
I am happy to report the g'nads are quite a photogenic family. I'm sending him the photos I took of them at MoJAM. They turned out well.

Too bad about losing the shot of mrsnad and the atlatl... I would have liked to have seen that!

Hello osage. We will all miss seeing Mrs. G'nad and the atl-atl. Perhaps the photo is still see-able though? I will have to agree about the G'nad family AND Mr. Bowman all being a photogenic group! Every photo I've seen is stunning.

I've been trying to print some photos that my aunt and uncle bought, but the USB connection keeps malfunctioning. I guess I have to go back to the old-fashioned (and slow!) parallel cable. Arrgh.
