Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Notice that the dimocRAT posturing in Texas is now not being covered as well.
When they absconded there was all kinds of coverage to garner support. Now that they're talking about it again, when the voters should be being made aware of their plans so we can STOP THEM - no news reports are being made at all.

Watching MSNBC too.... I just like them better. Except now when they break away for the apparent basketball player. Great.... I know its news, but stay on one thing at a time eh?
The family did ask that they not show her getting out of the chopper because it may be ungraceful. I expect they will try to be discreet.

Well, it is a heck of a news day.... now four major breaking stories, Eiffel tower is on fire, Jessica comes home, BB player probably found in Waco, Uday and whatshisname probably killed.... Your legislature having a tantrum just had to go I guess!

Sheesh! In a totally non-related non-news story. I just got a document fax from one of our divisions. It was illegible (and the problem was on their end). Office manager called and asked "can you just have her email it?"
Supervisor there said "but then she'd have to type it..."

I don't know about the Senate... but Bob has had a relapse thanks to the serial-killing doctor Rick, and Katy is pining for her lost husband Simon... meanwhile, I'm anxiously waiting to see if Cassie gets pulled off the roof of her hotel by the suicidal killer husband, or if she is saved by the District Attorney who is the double of her dead husband!
