Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

That's not the actual dance, is it? He's not clapping or flapping or dancing around in a circle.

No - that isn't the actual dance.... we have to have a partner to do the real dance and just read the instructions, I guess.... Hopefully 2J can help us with the choreography.

Looks like you may need to thump it regularly!
If that is true though, it sounds (to me) like what you have is a gunk or dust problem getting in the way of the connection, or something that is loose. If you took the case apart, tighted anything that seemed loose, wiggled wires a bit and vacuumed it out real good, you may solve the bad connection.

Yeah - the 'flap your hands like a beak' part has got me flummoxed. Step two is a breeze... Step 3, 'twisting and turning my posterior while crouching down into a low position' is gonna take some practice though.
