The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Lowe's and Home Depot have saws...

I put in a disk, and it said "Disk Loading", so I scooched it forward, picked it up, tipped it forward and gave it a whack on the underneath side, because nothing seemed to be happening from just tipping it forward.
I just loaded in another disk without having to do that...just did it like normal and it worked.

Yes.

Oh my...my favorite part of the movie is that part where you see the wraith again for the first time...like it was sitting on a horse, except it's sitting on the fell beast!
Arghhh!

The pony is out chasing bunnies in the pasture for entertainment...
sing along:
Little pony Lumpkin running in the pasture
Chasing down the cottontails and stomping them on the head!
(For dramatic effect only, she doesn't have a prayer of catching them)

I had no trouble loading the DVD and getting the main menu. It would just freeze up somewhat less than a minute after hitting "play".

Not the answer I would give... Even if Eomer wasn't cute, I am not sure our dwarf should have said that right then....

I've been checking my website stats, and it looks like the chat room is the biggest user of bandwidth. I think I'll take the link off the forum page when we go live, so we don't have visitors "off the street" walking in there and using it.
To: HairOfTheDog
But I don't have to worry about shady characters hanging out in the power tools section of Lowe's.
Correction, I guess it claims to not be a tree.

Just watching this is really making me look forward to ROTK...
Of the two, TTT was my least favorite...but still not a bad movie. I it's my second favorite movie ever...which is saying a lot.

I just love the way they did the Rohirrim though, for the most part. Just love them all...the kids, the chickens, the villages, Eomer, Eowyn, Theoden, the score, Meduseld!
The only thing I didn't like was the death of Hama.
