Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

WOO HOO! Good for you! - I feel guilty for not giving $$$ for this round, I would have loved to, but I thought the deadline had passed? Am I not paying attention?

That's right! Send it out yourself, sis! A few other people have, so if I figure right, he should already be getting about 6 packages from "Hole Dwellers".

I think if you get a box out by the 20th...Monday...you should do ok. It doesn't have to be much...buy a box of Moonpies at Sams, slap a label on it, fill out a customs slip (I'll help ya!) and send that baby off!

I'm making a command decision to remain in bvue at the Embassy Suites. Having not eaten for the last couple of days has seemingly left me vulnerable to the effects of a modest amount of intoxicating liquors. I usually don't actually have more than one or two.

Please let dad know, if you talk to him first. They don't seem to be answering the phone. I'll be down there in the morning...

Well, I am a little bit intimidated by the whole customs form deal - And what to send, but I guess that is pretty pitiful. I have excuses about having money trouble buying and sending a whole package myself now with the job cutback, but compared to their sacrifices, they really do feel like weak excuses... I just can't do anything much useful except pool a little into a bigger project right now. < /whining >

Ksen.... are you around? - Tomorrow morning I want to ping the entmoot list with what we need to do.... didn't you have a slightly different story from them last week on when they needed what amounts for the castle?

I know, sis...it's intimidating the first time. I remember feeling very anxious about it (and still do, to a certain extent) because there is so much to remember to do!

You can't go wrong with Tang, you know...buy four containers of Tang, stick them in a shoe box sized box, tape it up and stick a label on it! Then on the customs slip just put "Tang....4!"

Don't feel that way! This is a real rush job...like squeaking in under the wire! This way you don't have to go through the Paypal process...you can just zap him a package yourself!

The form is easy! Here's what it looks like... you don't need to worry about the net weights, just the value! The clerk will fill in the total weight and postage, etc.
