Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! THEY DID IT AGAIN!! I haven't seen them since Memorial Day and I heard them coming and I ran out and waved and they CIRCLED my house REALLY LOW. I was standing in the yard waving my flag and waving at them and just laughing!! I'm SURE they could see me, the were so low I could see they had their side open!!

I CANT BELIEVE IT!
Can helicopters go slow? This one seemed like it just to the side of my house and was going slower than the ones Memorial day that whizzed by...
It was low and slower, open on the side and it circled right over my house!!

Did you see??? The helicopter did it again!
Could they seriously be looking for me when they fly over?? They had the side wide open and flew where they could look right down on me and seemed like they were going very slow...
I was so thrilled...they were close enough to see me laughing, if they had binocs...

I can't believe it. They had to be looking out for me...it is only a couple of blocks between my house and the main road they fly down (do they use it to navigate?? Even the big planes fly straight down that road.)
