Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Your plan is more fun than my plan.
Even though it's supposed to be up to 105 again today.
My plan only takes about 10 minutes. Then I do nothing and be depressed for the rest of the day.

I got an email from the chaplain...he is loving getting the quotes and pictures concerning the flags. He told me to let him know if anyone doesn't receive one, in case of oversight, and to get their address to him.

I'm drinking mine too! The boys are still asleep. Matthew came in last night while I was still up and said "I can't go to sleep, Joshua is snoring." So I told him "Why don't you go in and play on the computer then...that's what you wanted to do, isn't it?" and he said "Because I'm tired!"

Where is everybody this morning? I am here. Just busy.
Heh heh heh...I realized this morning that I'm highly likely NOT to get the job offer. At least not if the guy I interviewed with reads my portfolio.
Like I said, the politics didn't seem to be a problem. But I remembered this a.m. that one of my writing samples is a hit piece I wrote about Al Gore and the RATS in 2000 called "The Truth About Hate Crimes." It started with the booing of the boy scouts at the RAT convention and went from there. I use it 'cause it got featured on World Net Daily. Don't be that impressed, Jr. played baseball with the sons of their (then) PR director. But it was pretty blunt.
We'll see if he gets that far or if he stops at the one on "Halloween Safety." Could be interesting...
