Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hey, do ya like dogs?? lolWe have one of those little dogs, a pek-a-poo(?). It's half pekingnese and half poodle, but she's ok. We also have 3 cats who stay outside most of the time.
The kids love dogs. Bring 'em with you! ;^)

i've been there, girl .. unloaded my brand spankin new lawnmower, then cut it out of the box, put the wheels on it, added a little gas and oil .. and fired that baby up!! have FUN!!

Well, this is not a 'new in the box' lawnmower, it is my dad's hand-me-down John Deer mower! But it is new to me!

Hey out there...hope everyone on the Texas coast is O.K.
We are doing alright here...still experiencing the brands from the storm, so it comes and goes. Have heard a good many "thumps" hit our roof, so I would imagine we have broken limbs up there. Everytime one hits I jump up off the sofa and go "eech..what was THAT!!" So it hasn't been a relaxing morning to say the least. Right now it's rather dark so I think we're in for another round.
Caught on the tread the best I could. Did one of our Texas freepers get evacutated? It looks nasty south of here.
