Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Oh, and I got a phone call about another contract job today, helping update a website for my former rommate's uncle's contracting business. Not sure how much it will pay, but we're getting together Tues to take a look at the project and discuss it.

Frodo was on a game show and the audience was PACKED with LOTR worshipers who showed up to cheer him on.
The host says to Frodo: "Okay, now for the $64,000 question.. Mr. Frodo, what's 10 + 1?"
Frodo rubs his chin, groans.. looks around and when time is nearly up he blurts out: "4"
The audience goes NUTS. I mean they just lose their tiny minds and scream: "Give him another chance! Give him another chance!"
The host, being fearful of the crowd (Ever see "Deliverance?") relents and offers Frodo a bonus question. A second chance at the $64,000 dollars.
The host says: "Okay Mr. Frodo, last chance.. For $64,000 tell me what is 2 + 2?"
Again, Frodo rubs his chin, groans.. looks around and when time is nearly up he blurts out: "4"
And, again. the audience yells: "Give him another chance! Give him another chance.."
