Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)

Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I think so too. I'm moving my comfy cushioned computer chair in here, instead of his wooden desk chair, and putting a tray table in here. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how much fun he has!

There is a different way home, luckily, but it means going through Seattle, which should be avoided at all times except when there is a 20-ton beam in the middle of the road.

I can email it to you...would that be ok? It's the original and very big and you can see all the details. That's how I caught it...looking at the details in the picture.

re: 405 south. Yikes. I checked out the freeway cams, and it would appear that the blockage is north of I-90. Doesn't look like my traffic will be too bad. There's something nasty happening in Federal Way but that should be clear by the time I get there.

I think I'm going to need to think about getting a new chair someday. I'm thinking I need a recliner from which to freep.

I'm changing linens now. I gave up on sorting through the toys and books...that would take all day. I just straightened up the room. I change the linens once a week anyway (on Sat)...so I just have a jump on it.

MMMmmm. Mocha almond fudge is my favorite! Alas, I don't have enough room in my freezer for it. That's why none is here now.

With company coming at least I will clear some stuff out of there so I'll have room for ice cream next week.

I had to put a whole bunch of stuff in the freezer at Myranda's graduation time when 6 people who said they were coming for 3 days failed to show.
