Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Sounds like it's off for a chat view...that's ok, I've got something I want to do while the kids are out. I want to go through their old toys and books and get rid of things they are too old for. Plus I want to change their linens on their beds...hard to do with bunk beds!
I'm in their room now on their computer. The lime green monstrosity.

Yeah - the fellowship seems to be all going various directions tonight.... WN is with a friend who saved the dog, not sure but I think ecurbh is working, OT is flyin', Ramius just grunts in chat and doesn't have the movie anyway, and Ruthy is preoccupied. The others have excuses too no doubt!

Well, I have an ulterior motive. The boys get real bent outta shape when I start tossing their old broken toys...now's my chance. You watch, they'll never notice.
And another reason...
Matthew always gets a special gift at the end of the year. This year, when he finished 3rd grade, he asked for one thing. A computer game called Otto-Matic and one solid week to play it without interruption! I agreed and I ordered the game. It took till TODAY for it to come in! So, I'm basically setting up his room for a week of computer playing. He'll take his meals in here, he can sleep when he wants. The only rules are that he must go to church Sunday but those hours can be tacked on to the end of the week and he must take a bath and brush his teeth as usually required.
This should be interesting.
