Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

How's the new place?
Nice. A lot more room than I had in my previous place. Bedroom with nice big closet, living area with wet bar, and a private bathroom. I wish I had a digital camera.
Are there boxes everywhere?
Oh yeah. Its a mess.
I can't freep long because (A) I have no desk chair, and (B) I'm exhausted. I need to go grab some vittles and take a shower. I'll check in again before I hit the hay.

OT: did you get your orientation today? See the thrilling power-point presentation? Heh....I don't think we have any power-point presentations but there are a few videos we have to watch.
Found out you can't hear the fire alarms from the inner rooms. :O
And the computer that runs the instrument we're using for my samples is.....a Mac!!! Arrgghhhhh!!!

Haven't heard from you much OT! Well....I don't have a 'puter at work yet so no FReeping on the job. :(
Was going to FReep some last night after a short nap....that lasted 'til 11:30 so I had to get up and go to bed.
The Earthlink connection here is just as crappy as home's: Rnaapp kept not responding this morning so I couldn't surf very far.

Evening Hair: We extended to invite to dinner Thursday, figured OT would be having series "kitty withdrawl" and Scampi Annie said she would try to pinch hit for HRH.
OT: LSAggie asks how does a spinach/strawberry salad with basalmic vinegar dressing and Pesto Genovese sound. Thinking about carrot cake (bundt pan no icing).
Got a few more pictures left on the role, need a couple of bow shots to prove I come by my handle honestly, and need a few more of the MO/NC Mini-Moot Part Duex.
btw - Samantha and Louise indicated they will be attending as well as Scampi Annie.

Huh! - Just looked up cad and found a definition I didn't expect..... I have liked a lot of cads, or people that I call cads..... I define it with less venom than they do, more of a rascally scoundrel than a truly unlikeable rat so perhaps I will stop using the word... I meant no offense.....
