It was a bit surreal...but he was smiling and I was too. And the scoops were worth the money too.
He was smiling and saying other things but was saying it behind the ice cream glass, you know? I couldn't hear him well enough to make it out.
It was an evening of unusual things.

She just wasn't scary. Had this psycho-lesbian-Nazi-barbie thing going, but not scary. Um... I dunno, but to me that sounds plenty scary. Perhaps it's just me.

LOL!!! Maybe so! He was certainly pleasantly different!
Still, with the world so full on angst, it did not escape me that two strangers in this world were kind and even funny!
I gave the woman a smile and mouthed the word "Thank you" for the audiocassette and she flashed a huge smile at me and nodded.
I laughed out loud in Baskin Robbins and the guy got a tip because of it.
It was a wonderful evening. We got home and Josh walked around in the back yard to the light of the floodlights we have back there, looking for toads. I swear it looked like something from some sci fi movie...the yard was full of toads!! Ahhhhh!

Actually, I didn't! He was very series about his job! He was a very cheerful and smiling guy!
A bit unusual, but not creepy. I was delighted and Steve got a kick out of it too...he was right beside me.

Ramius you seem a bit jumpy tonight! Yah... with cause. Massive mail problems today. RPC hangs. MTA queues from hell. Bad DNS juju. I even had the guys sacrifice a goat... just to be sure we covered all the bases. No joy. Still fighting the network gods. Gotta go get more goats, I guess.
