Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

The Hobbit Hole Care Package Project
This is potentially the last care package set that will go out as a group project. There will be seven sets...5 mens, 2 womens. This is a hygiene set and each set includes...
Shampoo
Lotion
Razors
Shaving cream
Toothpaste
Toothbrush
Dental floss (the kind that you don't stick your fingers in your mouth to use)
Soap
After shower powder
Deoderant
The women's is exactly the same, except with more floral scented items and the shaving cream was replaced with feminine hygiene.
Each care package set will include a coordinated towel set!

Combined care package items...
Women's items. The women's towels are sea green. The washcloths are white with sea green and pink stripes.
Men's items. The men's towels are blue. The washcloths are white with sea green and blue stripes.

I spent right at half of what I had. You note it's not too many name brands. I hate that, but I can just do so much more if I get the off-brands and I use the stuff...it's pretty good!
I should have enough to ship.

Well, I've learned a lot since I first started. I have to get some baggies...forgot them at Walmart...to put the powder in and such, things that might leak.

There is nothing wrong with store brands. On many occasions, I've found them to be better actually.

Thank you! And thanks to everyone here in the Hole that helped out at one time or another. We were able to do so much.
What started out as me hoping to send out a care package a month has turned into something like 30+ boxes going out in less than 4 months! Amazing.
