Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I'm drinking iced tea. Lipton just started making special tea bags that brew fast in cold water. Probably chemically treated and toxic, but...they actually taste like tea, unlike the powdered stuff, and I don't have to think ahead like you usually do when making iced tea with tea bags.
On my walk last night, I passed a nice truck with Washington plates and two dogs sitting inside. The owner was away getting ice cream at the local ice cream stand. I was tempted to ask where in Washington they were from!

Morning all, I'm drinking coffee with a coke chaser this morning .. hee hee.
Gotta have that coffee, but when i'm really THIRSTY, I have to have that diet coke chaser..
We got rain here last nite too .. needed it badly.

Yeah - Maybe I know 'im! :~DHeh...it's kind of a big state! Unlike Vermont!
I'm not even sure which of the people at the ice cream stand belonged to the truck, but there was a guy there with a hat (a real one, not an "old bean" cap or baseball cap) and a vest...didn't completely fit in with the decor here. I'm thinking that was the guy.
Cute dogs. Fiona told 'em off, though. ;)
