Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Drink more water.
I have decided that I'm not going to make it up at 4:00 a.m. to got to the gym. But this is the last week I have to go that early. Friday is the last day of school, so I can go a six instead of being home by six to get Jr. up.
I still have laundry in the washer and dryer, but I'm about to get the shirt I need from the washer and just throw it in with the stuff already in the dryer. The other stuff was stuff I need for the gym. It'll wait.
Kinda suck 'cause I won't get to go tomorrow night. Jr. has a ball game. It's the last regular season game he'll make (he may have a make up game). Last game of the year is while he's on choir tour, then playoffs start.

Good night again Bear! Thanks for the sunset. Good night Hair.

Children are harder than pets aren't they? My pets don't have activities they have to go to! :~D

Yeah, I get in trouble when I smack the boys on the snout with a newspaper...
Hullo! Good morning! It's just not right that I was one of the last one's here and I'm one of the first ones back (I did NOT go work out). I miss SuziQ's middle of the night catch-ups.

the mosquitos were voracious ...and they're hydrophillic! LOL
To: Corin Stormhands
Goood morning!
Hope all is well. I get to work on a report today, plan a bored meeting for tomorrow, and pack my bags for Arizona. I leave Friday...wahoooo!
And yes, it's overcast with rain expected yet again. *sigh*

Good morning.
Gees, I got up early this morning to get my things out to the pickup so I can leave immediately after work to go south and check on Grama --- and I have another broken water pipe under the house!!!!
Good Grief!!!
Apparantly it is coming OUT of the water heater because I was able to turn off the water IN to the water heater and I don't hear the water pouring now.

Morning folks!
Gosh, WN. Has the insurance guy come by yet?!
To: Lil'freeper
huh. Yea, literally and figurtively.
Funny fake news report on my morning news radio. They found the first case of 2003 of West Nile in a human in Texas this week. (actually later than last year this time) The news reporter reporting says, "The Health Department will now be testing mosquitos from all over the state. According to a health department official, the hardest part of the job is getting them to pee in a cup."
And that line was delivered with total seriousness! BWAAHAHAHAHA

Mornin' OT.
No insurance guy. They are swamped with damage all over town. And then there was added damamge last night. News is saying some parts of town don't have power this morning. I do have power. And I checked 3/4 of the way around the house, I had another window screen blown off and twisted. So, I'll be adding that into the pot.
Wish I could figure a way that a broken water pipe under the house was caused by the storm last night. Do you think a hail stone could have hit the side of the house hard enough to jar that loose?
