Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Good evening! My books are all done. I have to go to Bremerton tomorrow. I have studied the map of how to get to the place. I like the town, Navy ships are very cool, but for whatever reason I cannot leave Bremerton the same way I came in. I get lost every time. I think it is because the town is west of me, but we have to drive all the way around it and enter from west of town. It is really disorienting.

Steve is working on his paper again...I'm going to call and see what time he's planning on coming home. If he's late, I'll try to chat.

Ugh! I'm the same way about going to Downtown Miami or even the airport area. I dislike traffic and crowds intensely.
Maybe that's why I was never into the dance club scene or maybe even the reason I didn't pursue a higher paying job downtown. I just like to be comfortable, preferrably at home or at a friend's house just hanging out. I am 100% Hobbit, that's for sure!

Good Evening All.
Returned from the eastern lands, drove through three rainshowers, coming and going but had dry weather through the field time. No ticks but the mosquitos were voracious, doubtless send by one the dark ones to plague us. Lots of talk over the map on truck tailgate but overall a successful trip. Looks like a go.
Great rain now, complete with thunder and lighting, will be heading back to the front porch swing to enjoy it with a cup of coffee. Samantha is her usual self, but is relatively calm at present, exhaustion (?) or gathering her strength for the next round.

Yes. Her wing feathers are barred. White bars are coming onto them. She is also getting her very first tail feathers.
But Roy is a piece of work, I tell ya! Can you imagine her squalking and zig zagging back and forth when I took Jar Jar away from her? She was so FUNNY!
