Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)

Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I just downloaded it again and it only took several seconds.... All I can say is the that the site appears to still be working fine.

I would clean house on that machine.... perhaps go and uninstall all the software you don't need or recognize, delete all the cookies and internet files from it, and defrag it.

It probably won't solve this particular problem, but at least it would be tidy!

You look very young, Hair. And I REALLY envy you your hair...mine is so fine it goes limp if I let it grow any longer than chin length.

I have very few recent pictures of myself anyway. Generally if there are pictures being taken, I'm the one taking 'em. I have some my grandmother took around the time of my Mom's funeral last year, but I'm NOT exactly looking my best, for obvious reasons.

Well, I deleted cookies. I haven't finished being nosy all the way yet though. But, I can't find how to defrag this one. It has XP on it and I can't find how to defrag.

Heh...lurking over on the swimsuit thread. I'm someone that would NEVER wear a bikini myself, just because I wouldn't be comfortable. I've always been that way, same with shirts and pants - they gotta cover or I won't wear 'em.

But some of the folks on there...I mean, really...if a girl wears ANY sort of bikini or two piece, she's going to lead men to hell? And for the Christian guys on there saying that women shouldn't wear bikinis around them...have they considered not going to public beaches? Or just looking away? C'mon!

I avoid pictures of myself like the plague.... Especially when they remind me that my mental image of myself is not very accurate. Most go into the trash!

But the one where I was trying to show off my big bed hair one came out OK!

I was disappointed that no one noticed the precious....

I looked over there a little bit, there've gotten to be too many comments to think about now.

But I pretty much agree with your position.

When we were first married, Jeanne, who was just 22, had a figure to knock you out of your socks, she still looks sharp now, though her age is probably classified. Yet she always felt funny in a bikini, tho I wanted her to wear them.

OTOH, my daughter, who is 20, loves wearing bikinis, looks good in them, and I am a proud dad. 'Course she, like my wife, is very independent and can take care of herself, she's a tomboy, but still proud of being a woman.

I've got a sister in law visiting, I think if I can just invent an "in law purifier or proccessor," I could get really rich.
