Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Now that they're in Germany she has sent me lots of German chocolate. But, I don't care too much for it compared to our plain old dark chocolate.Oooh! Me, me, me! I miss German chocolate...
Speaking of which, though, some of you may remember me complaining that I couldn't get Ritter Sport bars here - their alpine milk chocolate flavor is my favorite "plain chocolate". But I found yesterday that the Shaw's grocery store about forty minutes away now carries 'em! Practically did a little dance in the grocery store. ;-)

By the way - I just feel like I have to brag - it's official now. I have lost 30 pounds and 2 sizes since March.Hooray for Jen! Congratulations!

By the way - I'm usually good with spelling - is it "interregnum" or "interegnum"? Anyone know? I want to use it for a title.Just in case nobody answered yet, it's "interregnum."

Unlike most everybody else here the last movie I went out to see was some movie with elves and hobbits and dwarves. LOLMe too...so far as I can remember. The only other movie I kinda wanted to see was The Matrix Reloaded, and I think I've made up my mind to wait until that's out on DVD.

But I am making shrimp scampi for lunch tomorrow. Who wants to come over for some? Uh, yes, I would like shrimp. (better than steak actually) And I'm sure Hair will be there too! I think she and I missed our supper at The Green Parrot yesterday so we need an outing. Lunch with you would be nice.

You drive 40 miles to go grocery shopping? I used to drive purt near that far when I lived in the country. 'Course, I just went when I got off work or out of church and it wasn't a long drive by itself then.
