Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Really? I might be interested in getting that for Rose to try... It's very easy. BUT very very messy. I think you have to try it. I don't think Rose wants to try it. Try sticky up to your elbows.

Now that we have fast computers and a high-speed Internet connection, I need to get our webcam set up.

Without a 17 year old elven princess living here it's pretty slow for a Friday night. Well, the Mrs. is at work. Jr. is staying at a friend's house and Luke is asleep. We watched Monsters, Inc. earlier. He's been asking too since we went to see Finding Nemo last week and he recognized the logo for Pixar. We've managed to misplace our copy, so I rented it tonite.
In other news, when I dropped Jr. off for the dance, there really were kids being dropped off in a stretch limo.

Tolkien didn't say anything about hobbitses having any beards though, don't know where you got that! :~O

Here's one that shows the curlique (sp?) it tends to develop in the back. This is the longest I have ever had my hair.
