Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

It wasn't my moment to save a poooch...

Thanks. I went thru that whole era of "no secular music" and I missed a lot...

Well, I thought about contacting Kraft about the Tang request, but was very intimidated...they have "channels" you have to go through. Little Debbie seems like a smaller company and is based in Tennessee.
The fudge brownies we have are red, white, and blue and have the proper way to display the flag on the back. It says "Celebrating the Spirit of America" on the front. So I kinda have the feeling they are more patriotic than, say, Kraft...a huge corporation.

That song is a 'stop and listen' song for me. Reminds me of the end of a lot of relationship ends...
That's me in the corner
That's me in the spotlight
Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much.
I haven't said enough.

Or everytime I reclined my recliner she went tearing out the door baking hysterically. Strange habits.Ooohh, that IS strange!

I will have the Quiche, since real men won't eat it.

So I kinda have the feeling they are more patriotic than, say, Kraft...a huge corporation. Kraft is (or at least used to be) a division of the Philip Morris Companies. They do a LOT of political/patriotic stuff. When I worked for a conservative legislative association in DC, PM was one of our biggest (if not the biggest) sponsors.
I've been away far too long to have any contacts there now. But you could go to your state's lobbyist registration list (probably online, or at least the contact info) and look up the lobbyist for Kraft. There's one there, even if they have several states to cover.
Don't be shy about asking. They expect it and welcome it. The worst they can say is "no."

Reminds me of the end of a lot of relationship ends... Hmmm...my most significant "relationship ends" are from when the Mrs. and I broke up. We met in college and dated off and on for the next 8 years before we got married.
To: RMDupree
that's the first place I look. Hmmm...maybe I switch to the Atkins diet for a while. That way I'd "really" get bacon...

You really think so? I was just overwhelmed with the website! That would be wonderful! I'll look it up.
Here is what I found on the McKee website:
http://www.mckeefoods.com/about/a_activity.htm It sounds promising...I should have been more forward in my request. Perhaps I will "follow up" if I don't hear anything back...
To: 2Jedismom
Do follow up with McKee. They'll expect it.
