Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

LOL no, I keep trying to copy and the only thing that pastes is that tender mercies line. I keep expecting it to work right but it's stuck. I have to not paste until I reboot again. This computer in my office has done this to me before.

This was *seriesly* the 3 best years of my life! Flight school, flyin' airplanes, good friends, youth, a good lookin' guy with a dad who had a car worth more than my house. :~D

That one finally hatched. There are 4 more pipping. I found 1 I hadn't noticed that was pipped at the wrong end, but the chick was dead. We check. Then there was another that was pipped at the correct end but it was dead also. That will leave 4 duds. I hope these other 4 go ahead and hatch. Does your book say anything about helping one even if it's comeing from the right end. How long do give them to hatch on their own?
