The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

LOL..."IF" they don't bite. It's a little late after they do it isn't it:) I hate bugs, any kind of bugs. I would rather have a snake on the porch then a bug.

This one was spooked, because there was 11 people standing around, (me, my kids, my friend and her five kids and the two kids that ran out of the house). So I didn't try to pick it up with my hands...
But it was a nice-looking spider!

I'm loading the pictures in to York...this will take some time.

Of course notice that Robert Duvall was also in Gone in 60 Seconds. He has good taste in flicks to be in.He's one of my favorite actors, not so much for his looks as because he can ACT, and act any part! Haven't seen that movie, though.

Can't wait!

How cool! I can't wait to see!

YES!! Lawrence is my FAVE! I like Changing Rooms a LOT better than TS. TS drags on and on...Changing Rooms is short and sweet and THEY HAVE LAWRENCE! hehe
To: Lil'freeper
Hmm... does Lawrence by any chance take fashion tips from Chairman Kaga of Iron Chef?

"Honestly, I can't remember any of his other movies - except that Ireland one, and I can't remember the name of it."Far and Away...I actually liked that one!
"Another movie that made me like an actor that I don't normally like is Gone In 60 Seconds. I don't like Nic Cage. But I liked him in that."
And I hated that one LOL. I expected to like it, but I didn't at all.
There is a nasty storm sweeping through here right now. It's pitch black outside and the winds are howlin! Constant thunder too. *shudder*

Every single picture of Chicken Moot '03 turned out good. I'll send them to anyone that has a York account...let me know if you have one.
They are loading right now.

We need to live closer. I can't handle the leggless demon creatures from hell. But, spiders are kind of fun. Taratulas (like most people keep telling me about THOSE other things) seldom bite unless you are aggresive. They will walk on your hand or up your arms and it feels like a little fuzzy thing walking.
But, if I have those other things, I have to call someone. We could definitely trade out in eliminating pests if we lived on adjacent places.

If they put it in a large container and feed it it will comfortable live with them a while. I had 2 last summer but they both died. Got too hot.

I took 42 pics...about half are loaded.
I'm going to grab a snack, then I'll post some of the best.

Did you see Gone in 60 Seconds? Never heard of it.
To: Wneighbor
I love "Tender Mercies"...we've seen it about a zillion times, and my brother owns it.
To: RMDupree
Wonder if your storm is from the system that came through here last night? Honestly with all the goings on of graduation and leaving for Germany I didn't do my normal weather watching and had no idea we were in for storms last night. It was sunny and beautiful all day.
