Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I know you're glad she is there safe! YES I am. I was not concerned about the flight at all .... until while we were in chat last night we had a sudden violent storm here. We had softball size hail!!! And it came out of nowhere! No rain first, sky didn't get dark and gloomy, only clouds that were not dark. It was freaky. Then I thought of the plane.
Did ya'll get any bad weather? We had another cell move through about 1AM but it was just real high wind and a minimum of rain.

Yes, we got hard rain and noisy thunderstorms, but if it hailed, I slept through it. I suppose I should check the yard!

Hello,
I think there will probably be some not hatched but I would not wait much longer then between 11:00 and 12:00. I think we are getting down too the ones left that have not started pipping are duds. One more has hatched this morning and I have 7 pipping.
I tried calling you once I knew you were up. I am going to leave here in about an hour. When I get done with my errand I thought I would call you from my cell and could meet you somewhere on my way back thru town. Bueno will be fine:) Just not sure of the exact time, that is why I thought I could just call from the car??

OK that is great. I have to run my weed wacker to Sears for a tune up, and stop at WalMart for pine shavings for the chicks crate. When I leave Sears I'll call that should give you all plenty of time.

Good morning everybody!
WOW! Chatty Hole Dwellers this weekend!
I browsed through the thread and caught up just a bit, believe it or not.
Wn - I've got years to go before my girls leave home, but reading your posts got me choked up on just the thought of that unavoidable day. You handled it with grace and style, which is pretty much what I've come to expect from you. You done good, Mama! You done real good. :) *HUG*
Now, enough of the mushy stuff! It seems that a bit of dust got in my eyes there for a minute. *AHEM* OK, on to breakfast.
I've fried up some steak and eggs (knowing how WN loves them), along with OT's hash browns and 8 platters of bacon and 7 platters of sausage and ham. I've also sauteed some lovely mushrooms to eat with your steak or just alone! LOL! Buttermilk biscuits are hot out of the oven and in the covered basket on the table. Coffee is brewed (strong for this Monday morning) and I fresh-squeezed some orange juice and put it in the icebox. ENJOY!
Oh and Bear - CONGRATS ON THE 0000.
