Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I'm going to need an interpreter around some of you guys at EntMoot! oh yeah. I forgot. Still, if it's alone time your looking for then not understanding the language could be a good thing.
on top of that dialect issue, i have found another one here today. Earlier Ruthy was talking about phrases her f-i-l used. Somebody else chimed in to that too. They said they had to get translations. Only thing was, they were talking about phrases that I use.

I try to do things right, but screw up often enough, although sometimes it comes out good.

Hey Hair, I thought Weaving was fine as Elrond. 'Course I have never seen Matrix, so am not worried that he is playing the same part.
When I do, I'll probably think it is weird that "Elrond" is in a spy movie, or whatever it is.

Well, stay busy with something that you find gives you a sense of accomplishment, that's important, IMO, tho I'm sure you realize it as well as I.
I've done some good things in my life and some useless, too.
But I am not a heroic person like a marine (or Dwarf or Elf), for sure, tho I can hope things would work out that I will do the right thing when ever hard choices may come.
Anyway, glad you are coming to the moot. Hopefully there are lots of big deer where you are in Missouri, too.
