Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Where are you? Are you still there? The package came. I was going to turn around, pack it and send it right out. But, I took Myranda to graduation and she wants to see. So, I'm going to re-pack and take it to the post office before noon tomorrow.

"There is a tecnique called "imprint training" with horses. It's when as soon as they hit the ground a person is there to touch them all over and make human smell the first thing they get use to other then momma. It makes them easier to train." This works well with humans too, IMO ;-)

I'm still here! Outside with the boys, watching them swim in their pool.
Earlier, Matthew was holding that little chicken, Roy...he had feed in one hand and Roy was standing on his leg, eating the feed out of his hand...then she just went to sleep! Laid her head down in Matthew's hand and went to sleep for a few seconds! Matthew just sat there amazed, with this chicken sitting on his lap, sleeping with it's head on his hand!
