The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Posted on 12/17/2002 7:32:02 AM PST by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Journey to the Cross-roads

The Two Towers Edition

Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)

Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Tiaras: An Elven Guide was written by Elrond Halfelven in the late 90s. His latest work is entitled How Fiber Changed My Life and is available now!

You think that outfit would be OK when the vet comes? - It's not too much?

I like it. Wish you were here to eat some with me. We have a guest right now who doesn't eat it.

I wish I could share, too. Don't feel much like cooking.

Plus I have a headache. I should know by now that I can't get away with drinking diet sodas...baaad Rosie!

Not as long as you didn't sweat and start stinkin' like a dwarf from the stall cleanin'. Or make your mascara have black streaks down your face. Did you do the body wrap?

Perhaps you have some frilly anklet socks and lace-up granny boots from the 80s in your closet somewhere?

It would be the perfect match to the lovely ensemble!

Well, I'm not sure we call this cooking. I didn't have enough of any of the 3 items to make 2 bowls full. But, all 3 of them together are doing nicely.

Last night we were going to have TexMex. I had beef and a little leftover chicken for tacos. Some really good tortillas that I got in Waco last time I was there. Fried rice, Fried corn with peppers, Homemade bean dip, and chopped salad stuff for the tacos. But, Myranda and her friend didn't want it. They went to Pizza Hut.

So, I got rid of the Cajun cuisine because the refrigerator needed room for the TexMex stuff.

I told my dad about this vet coming (he used to kid me about taking the dogs to the vet too often ;~D)

He said "Make sure you write down all the questions you want to ask so you don't get all flustered and forget when he arrives!"

Heh.
