Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I was at my neice's wedding. Plus my god daughter's graduation from Hollins in Roanoke.
Toast was well recieved and raised lots of applause, I think many missed entirely the LOTR references, but alot got it and liked them.
Wanted to look you up, but could never get over to Richmond, was so busy, won't let that happen again though, Corin, if I get to Richmond. Forgive me, if you can.

I'm alive. Looking for a new job. Enjoying my baby's last 2 days in high school. She graduates Saturday. And leaves for a month long visit with her sister in Germany on Sunday morning. (talk about in a hurry to get out of the house!)
She has 2 friends over right now (one up from Waco.) They are playing Monopoly in the floor in front of my desk and watching a video. Seems like this is pretty much what life was like since 10 years ago or so. I kind of like it.
Next week --- I'm gonna be ---- a one person household!!!! I don't think I know how to cook that way.
