Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

That is why we have to focus! - It is easy after seeing them so many times to let the movies just be background music..... Which is OK to some degree, us talking will be a rare treat, the movies are just why we are meeting after all this time.

Looked in on the Eagle Cam, can't tell if the eggs have hatched. The Ospreys on some of our local power poles are raising their chicks here. It is amazing, they raise their families within 20 feet of our local 4 lane highway. Too bad that Eagles are so shy!

There are dark spots on both eggs, I think. Definately on one, but I think on the other too before mama rolled them last. I think they are breaking out, but not out yet.

No luck yet on g'nad.
His profile only shows his most recent posts (what's up with that?), but he said the baby was to be born in Lebanon. He's not listed there. Nor is he listed in the other town we thought. There is a listing under his name in Columbia. But that doesn't sound right (and I get no answer there anyway).
Any thoughts?
