Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Bacon? Naw... got this pouch full o' venison jerky. Home made with habenero peppers.
The growler I've got holds two pints of a full bodied stout with just a hint of the German hopps still in it. A 60watt bulb can't be seen through a pilsner glass full of it.
I've read everything of JRR's. Everything I could get my hands on at least. I have yet to take a Quenya course at the local community college though...

Wasn't CGEB revealed to be a guy later on down the road? For those interested in this subject, please freepmail me for my full length set of emails about it. Excessive discussion of this subject on the forum gets the entire thread pulled.

So, are you one of the Austin Freepers? Depends on what you meand by "one of". I've never actually been to any of the CenTex Freeper events. I do, however, reside in Austin and I am a Freeper. ;-)

Ahhh, I never went to any events myself. I did meet other Austin Freepers BearinRoseBear and RoseinRoseBear a few months ago. And I inadvertanly met RoseD and 2 others that I forgot their names now when I was hot-headed enough to take off to Ardmore last week.
I just asked that Austin Freepers be pinged over the young lady in Ardmore being invited to the Capital for the day. It would be nice to include a Freeper welcome IMO. If it happens on a day when I'm not working I might just make the trip myself.
