Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Good morning! This is just a funkley kind of day for me I guess. I am kind of stressed so I might just do it again before the day is over. But, the thing is, I know where to come for companionship in stress. :-)

Oh dear! I have to pray she finds someone to help her with the kids! - Even if she doesn't get admitted to the hospital, she will need the help of a good friend.

YES! That is a very good thing! She has a neighbor upstairs who keeps the kids sometimes but they aren't nearly as cautious about their kids and we are. They kind of let 'em run wild. Jill and the girls really like the family but she doesn't like the kids staying there for safety reasons.

Then, about 2 weeks ago she had a run-in with the colonel's wife over the FRG group. She resigned as head of the FRG because of it so there's some animosity there. She is kind of out of the loop on that support just now after leading the group for 2 years.

So, you hit the nail on the head. She needs a friend.

Well, at first I was busy. She told me about my s-i-l mentioning it would be nice to have one of those solar shower thingys. Jill hasn't felt well enough to get out to buy one. She knew I had one and just asked me to send him mine. Mine is old and used. It looks it. So, I got busy seeing if I could get him a new one and all and didn't really start dwelling and thinking till I got home. And I was baking and kneeding some bread and praying. And that scripture 1 Peter 5:7 is the one I kept thinking Casting your care on Him for He cares for you. So, that's comforting. But, it's more comforting to cast my care out on all ya'll too so ya'll can pray too. There must be something I'm learing here about trusting in God for her to be so far away that I can't help. So, that's probably a good thing. Frustrating though. I'm rambling....oops.

I am sure she would not mind adding two to her order,the problem is I don't know when she will order. She is expecting a baby anytime, has a 14 month old already, pigs and dogs, and a half finished house that her and her husband are building. She is also doing home birth, Their home will have no electric and no running water. Her mother is actually more a friend then she is, but I send eggs to the girl all the time thru her mother. Her mother is encouraging her NOT to order chickens, because she has enough to contend with now. Her husband is self-employed and only comes home from work on weekends and once dureing the week. Personally I would kick his....well you know for treating my daughter that way if it was me. He's not a bad guy at all really, makes good money, what there will be of the house will be nice, just kind of of the survivalist mind set. And the girl adores him. Go figure:) So if I can catch her before she orders I will tell her about your order.

Ya'll might have to hear me whine today and tomorrow though. If nothing else, I need to be there to dump her rear in the car and take her to that appointment tomorrow! (spoken like a true mom huh? LOL)

I am over defending women's nature to ogle at men. An article is trying to say that women have only been tricked into doing that. If I have been tricked, they sure did a number on me! Is this how the Matrix works?
