Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

So, on my news out of Lawton all the time there is this controversy about chickens - fighting - in OK.

Well three weeks from noon today they will be hatching:) Shoot, if you are that cheap I would give you two. But mine are not full breeds. They are half Rhode Island Red, and the other half is what ever. We have had chickens for years now,to keep ticks out of the yard. This past winter I bought the incubator because so many people were asking for eggs. This is the third batch I have hatched. The second batch I hatched all got killed last week, so I finally got an entirely enclosed chicken pen, and starting to build my flock again:)

Did I ever welcome you to the Hobbit Hole? I think the Oklahoma storms blew you in here, but this is the friendliest place on FR. We've been friends for a long time.

Excellent. I have had 73 and 86 Sportsters. Have thought about picking up another one now that prices are lowering again. Right now am thinking it's time to sell the Softtail and get a Superglide T-Sport. My favorite bike ever was an 85 Superglide evo. I still miss that bike and I decided I want another one.

The Sportster is the only thing I have ever drove, my husband has had an FXR, and now has a Heritage classic. When we ride together we have a 2002 Goldwing. Ever been to Sturgis?
