The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Shirts would be cool. Just thought of something. maybe it would be good to have them beforehand. It would be a way to 'identify' each other at the airport!
the alternative to this is not shirt-less is it? has the hobbit hole gone south? Did the skivvieless gondorans come up with this?
To: Sam Cree; ecurbh
I know a little about making T shirtsWe'll have to make sure we get one to the chaplain!

I hate to butt into your conversation, but you can design one yourself with a picture of Hobbits or elves or whatever. You can buy T-shirt-making kits at Wal-Mart and K-Mart to print the design onto a heat transfer sheet. Then you just iron the decal onto a T-shirt. You all have computers (unless you are channeling) and the printer does a pretty good job. We did this for my daughter's class at school when they went to the Challenger Center. It was pretty easy--and cheap!

If Lil'Freeper is fast, you could get him next.... Don't know what kind of timing she needs. My first opportunity to get down to DC will be the weekend of the 17th. Can do some local photo shoots before then, tho.

Morning! Kind of foggy out but promises to be sunny 70s later on. I love spring.

Good idea! I have a pretty bad printer, but I could take it to Kinkos and have them print it up!
I sure will let you know when I get your letter!

Good morning everyone! We made it through the night without blowing away, but I am barely alive.
I should nevernevernever eat spicey buffalo wings just before bed. I've been sick all night!

Don't know what kind of timing she needs. My sister wants us to get on the list. We're trying to think of places to take him.
Good Morning!

Jeanne and me ate some bad peanut butter yesterday, if you can imagine, but we are Ok now. Peanut butter is usually one of my favorites.
There's not likely to be buffalo wings around here as she doesn't like spicy stuff too much. I like the sauce, though.

"We're trying to think of places to take him" There are a lot of cool cigarette factories around, I believe. But how about in front of the corporate headquarters of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

I love hot wings, but they don't love me and I should never eat them right before bed! I guzzled Pepto Bismol.
Mornin' OT!
