The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Oh brother.
Well, I have to go take care of ANOTHER ticket Steve got for no tail light...sigh. They pulled him over AGAIN for it and he still didn't have his insurance card with him...it was in my car from when I took care of the first ticket!
Then, I'm going to the post office, then to the GROCERY STORE!!!

Thankfully, the tickets don't cost anything...I just have to show proof of insurance. The tail light ticket was just a warning.

Entmoot '04 - Be there or be a plane figure having 4 equal sides and 4 right angles.) LOL!
To: 2Jedismom
Um.... I would recommend fixing the tail light, and maybe having Steve carry the insurance card with him! ;~D

Yep! LOL I called him the other day and said "Ok, I took care of the insurance ticket, now get the tail light fixed!"
He didn't.
I cracked the whip last night and he got it done last night. So I am going to take care of it again, and then take the insurance card to his office.
Tomorrow is his last day of school!!! Woohoooo!

I'm supposed to be an elf on this site...but Eowyn really "speaks" to me... Come to the dwarf side my son...
To: 2Jedismom
Steve is a Dwarf through and through. He'll fit right in!
To: Corin Stormhands
Come to the dwarf side my son... Hey, I dare ya to call Gimli anything but a dwarf to his face, and HE didn't seem to mind looking at elf babes, did he?

Hey, I dare ya to call Gimli anything but a dwarf to his face, and HE didn't seem to mind looking at elf babes, did he? 'tis a far different thing to admire the beauty of the elf wimmin than it is to admit being an elf "man."

She should have that thing looked at.I'm sure she had those things looked at every time she was on the set........what? oh, nevermind.

Vimmy? Was it something we (okay Hair) said again?
We're in the midst of planning for Entmoot. We can't do it right without the MootMeister...where are ya?
To: ksen; HairOfTheDog
I'm sure she had those things looked at every time she was on the set........what? Ha! I saw her do an interview once. She talked about the difficulty of getting in the costume. She couldn't do it by herself because it was basically sewn on.

Good job! Have Tami put it up on the refrigerator!
I've not gotten any papers back yet because I haven't submitted any. One program I'm "in" is self directed, so I just haven't gotten started. But when I start (hopefully) in the fall, I won't have that luxury. (different program, different school)
To: ksen
What school are you going to? Details... Smeagol needs details...
Tonight, I get my math test back. Fingers crossed... want to keep the 4.0 gpa, but math has always been my Waterloo.
A- is still an A in the box scores.

I am a student at Pensacola Theological Seminary. It is a ministry of Pensacola Christian College.
I attend module courses which means that I read the books that are assigned during a normal semester and critique them. I then attend lectures for one week from 8:30am to 2:00pm so I get the same amount of lecture time that a regular semester student gets and then we have a post-course paper to do based on the content of the course.
This last class I just finished the paper was Apologetics. My paper was entitled "A Biblical Defense of Jesus as the Jewish Messiah." It ended up being about 20 pages long.
I don't mind the writing of the paper, I kind of enjoy that, it's the research that I bog down on. But I've had 7 classes so far and have received 5 A's and 2 B's (the B's still kind of sting).
