Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

It might have been time to film a big release telling of the story of Jesus - something on the level of "The Ten Commandments". Maybe. But from the interviews I've read, Mel's not doing this to make a blockbuster movie. He's doing it to tell the story as accurately as possible. It's a religious and artistic expression for him. I don't know that he cares beyond that.

I agree, the quality of the scripts has been consistently good. Quite amazing in Hollywood these days.
Although I had heard about Vincent Garber's Broadway career, I have not heard him sing. I have seen him appear as a character actor in other TV shows, though... can be quite jarring, as he never plays the heavy in them like he does in Alias.
