Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Is this a party or what? You know, I was skeptical for a long time. I was really hesitant to do dwarf-moot. But I'm glad I did.
And it convinced me that I can't miss Entmoot.

I have this image of us all sitting around with laptops logged into the chatroom because we can't talk "live" with each other...but somehow I know that won't be a problem... I don't imagine so...probably the biggest "problem" will be getting us to shut up by three or four in the morning. ;-)
When I went to guitar camp a few years ago, I met a lot of people from the guitar list I'm on (though recently I do more lurking than anything else). I was amazed at how quickly we all put names to faces and felt right at home! I imagine this will be even easier...and better.

I should be at my goal weight before the entmoot... You and me both. I just went over and smacked a troll on the thread about airline weight restrictions.

It gives me another reason to get "at" my goal weight....
The main reason should be to lighten the load for my horse, but I have been eating nothing but comfort food for the last two weeks. Need to start feeling comforted by something else!

Yeah, that was really true at dwarf-moot. It wasn't really like we had to spend any time getting to know each other. We were already there.

Seriesly, I'm not built to be a lightweight. No elf blood here. I guess it's the Norski genes. Even when I'm in good shape I'm kinda...well...stubby. Or something.

Speaking of elves...did I tell you saw an elf standing on the street corner the other day?
I'm vey series. This guy had Legolas hair, blond, pulled back and down to his butt. He was tall and thin. He weren't quite as purty as Legolas, but he was definitely elf lookin'...

We have one that lives in town here too. Gorgeous she-elf. Purtier than Legolas even! I see her around now and then.
